Who We Are
Kate Goemaat-Suarez, LCSW, LCSW-C (she/her)
Owner, Founder, Therapist
My experience as a birth and bereavement doula led me to the practice of social work in hopes of providing individual counseling to pregnant persons coping with Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs) as well as parents coping with miscarriage, stillbirth, fatal diagnoses, or a baby that passed in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. I received my bachelor’s degree at the University of Delaware and a Master’s of Social Work at Simmons University in Boston, MA. I am an Internal Family Systems trained clinician and Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Delaware and Maryland.

Kate was born and raised in Delaware and calls herself a homebody who sometimes likes to travel. She lives with her wife, mother-in-law, five outrageously energetic kids, and three cats in a multi-cultural and multi-generational household filled with chaos of all varieties. She loves her career and has always been drawn to the helping professions. She is constantly grateful to her wife, mother, and mother-in-law for holding down the fort while she works!
Carly Fountain, B.S. (she/her)
Clinical Coordinator & Pre-Licensed Therapist
My experience working in trauma has always felt organic to me. After graduating from Pennsylvania State University in 2020, I continued my love for helping as a medical trauma case manager at an orthopedic surgical practice serving Level One trauma patients in Delaware. I found myself noticing the mental health impacts of the trauma(s) my patients experienced; it was then that I decided to dive back into school to pursue my Master’s of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (anticipated graduation 9/2024). My clinical focus is trauma, relationship dynamics, anxiety, OCD, LGBTQ+ related issues, and dissociative disorders using a psychosomatic approach.
